International Foundation Programme at the University of Bristol
The International Foundation Programme is a University-delivered course that prepares international students for an undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol, and you can apply to this course with Kaplan Pathways.
Most of your classes will take place at the Centre for Academic Language and Development. The Centre is based on the main Clifton campus, so you’ll experience university life from your first day.
You’ll be taught by expert University of Bristol teachers who will help you to develop your language and academic skills, and to follow your path to a University of Bristol degree.

To gain entry to an undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol, you can take the University delivered International Foundation Programme on campus, and apply through Kaplan Pathways.
What is the International Foundation Programme?
The International Foundation Programme helps you to prepare for an undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol, by developing your academic and language skills to meet degree entry requirements. If you pass at the required level, you’re guaranteed entry to the University of Bristol. If you have a higher level of English (UKVI IELTS 7.0 overall with at least 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in speaking, listening and reading), you may be eligible for the International Foundation Programme Plus.
Where is it based?
The programme is delivered by the University of Bristol, with many classes taking place at the Centre for Academic Language and Development. The Centre is part of the University, and is used by degree students as well as foundation students, so you’ll experience university life from your first day. You will be taught by expert teachers who understand the challenges
international students face, and who will be there to support you on your path to university
