According to 8th Annual Meeting of Thammasat University Council on 20 August 2012, the International College of Medicine has been established. The college was developed with the purpose of educating advanced professionals and students who would like to pursue their goal in the fields of medical sciences and research while playing a key role in Thailand’s art and cultural evolution with the integration of English as the primary language of education.
The College was later granted as Chulabhorn International College of Medicine by Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn in the Royal Book dated 8 May 2013.
The core of learning strategies and curriculum improvement are the main responsibilities of Academic Services Division. We are trying to foster the course contents and maintain the quality of each program. This attempt is in accordance with the goal of our academic dimensions which are as follows.
We, hence, have brainstormed and paid more attention to our academic matters development. Many projects concerning this issue were launched and we have been thoroughly supported by the faculty members.
Our curriculums also focus on other facets of medical study, including the principles of research methodology, evidence based medicine, the ability to transfer knowledge and educate patients, as well as the aspect of health and life administration. This learning strategy will complement our students become “the next generation” of professional healthcare personnel upon their graduation.
