Situated in the heart of Nicosia the capital of Cyprus The American Academy Nicosia was founded in 1922 and is one of the oldest private schools in Cyprus. The Academy offers outstanding learning opportunities to children and young people from 4 to 18 years of age through the Preschool Primary and Secondary Departments. Following the British curriculum we provide quality education in a caring environment.
The Secondary Department provides education from Year 7 to year 13 continuing to follow the British curriculum through Key Stages 3,4 and 5. We offer students the opportunity to study for IGCSE,GCSE and CCE AS and A levels,available through the Cambridge International and Edexcel Examination Boards.
