Russo Business School is positioning to be a leader in applied higher education, developing graduates with the fundamental knowledge, commercial acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset to achieve success in their industry of choice. Through our educational programs we enable students to develop the capability to contribute to success within an organisation, drive change through an intrapreneurial initiative, or have the capacity to start their own business.

Russo Business School (RBS) also provides an alternative to traditional university study for those looking for more applied learning, additional academic support and smaller class sizes.

RBS is co-located with the James Cook University (JCU) Brisbane Campus offering students an ideal opportunity to experience a true university setting while accessing a more supportive learning environment to enable success.

Students can access facilities such as;

The campus is located at 349 Queen Street in the Brisbane Central Business District.

RBS is accredited to deliver the following courses:

Diploma of Business
Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance)
Bachelor of Entrepreneurship

RBS was established in 2015 and is registered with the Tertiary Education and Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) – PRV14013 and the Commonwealth Register of Institutes and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) under Provider Code 03441F.

RBS was established in 2015 to provide access to higher education qualifications for international students, through the Diploma of Business.

Between 2017-2019, 161 international students commenced studying the Diploma of Business at RBS originating from 17 countries. Students predominantly using the course as a pathway to the Bachelor of Business at JCU as well as other universities.

In 2019 the strategic direction was refined to include a clearer focus on entrepreneurial endeavours and RBS gained accreditation to deliver its own Bachelor degrees in Business and Entrepreneurship to both domestic and international students.

RBS entered a period of hibernation in 2020 following the closure of international borders due to COVID-19.

RBS is relaunching a revitalised Diploma of Business in September 2022 in both on campus and online formats for international and domestic students
