Miami University has again been named a top 50 public school among national universities by U.S. News & World Report.
Miami is No. 48 in public schools, according to the U.S. News & World Report 2022-2023 Best Colleges rankings. The university is No. 105 among all national universities, public and private, and earned spots on multiple Best Colleges lists.
In undergraduate teaching, Miami remains near the top. The university is tied for fifth with Arizona State University among public schools in Best Undergraduate Teaching and is 18th overall in this category, tied with Arizona State and Harvard University.

U.S. News & World Report rankings are based on several points of data as well as reputation. The “Most Trusted Universities” report took the top 135 doctoral research universities featured in the 2022 U.S. News & World Report Best National University Rankings and conducted surveys to sort the universities by net trust.
