Mother’s Touch International Academy (MTIA) is a pioneer in offering Early Childhood Education qualifications in Sri Lanka. The academy was established in the year 2006 as the founder felt that children and families in Sri Lanka would be better served by a system that blends early childhood education and children’s care. Therefore, we strive to create a community where every child can attend a program that blends both aspects. We plan to achieve this through teaching individuals the skills and knowledge which would be required from them to take the best care of our children!
We focus on igniting the passion and deepening the knowledge and skills of Early Childhood Education professionals. Our diploma and certificate courses extend beyond conventional approaches by combining theory and practical placement in a truly global setting, allowing our students to be immersed in best practices from around the world.
We strive to continually expand our knowledge and services to assist our students so they are up-to-date in international legislation, rules and regulations as well as all current research results and new information. Creche Management
An increasing number of companies are moving towards providing in-house cre?che (child care) facilities to their staff. Research has shown that it increases productivity and decreases staff turnover. At Mother’s Touch we understand the great responsibility that a company is undertaking in providing this service and we strive to be the outsource cre?che management company of choice.We undertake the responsibility of setting up, staffing and ongoing running of company cre?ches. We have a number of different models for managing nurseries, cre?ches and children’s holiday clubs. We work with the company to make sure that the cre?che or childcare settings works just the way it should and meet their individual needs.

Mother’s Touch provides consultation for the development of study programs in this field and the setting up of early childhood education and care centers nationally and internationally.
Hotel Staff Training
Our Hotel Staff Training Programs seek to allow hotel to become family friendly, so that guests can make the most of their hotel stay. Parents can enjoy some relaxation, enjoy the spa or a long quiet meal while their precious children are being taken care of by well qualified staff trained by Mother’s Touch.We realize the magnitude of the responsibility the hotel is taking in assuming responsibility for the children on their premises without parental supervision. Therefore, our programs are underpinned by teaching the staff the necessary knowledge and skill to take care of the most treasured aspect of the guests lives, their children. Programs can be tailor made to suit the individual hotel’s requirement. Some of our clients have been Anantara (Dhigu, Kihavah villas) and Starwod Hotels (Sheraton) in Maldives.
