The University of Buraimi (UoB), a relatively young higher education institution in the Sultanate of Oman, is committed to delivering international education locally. Since its inception, UoB has adhered to standards, quality assurance principles and best practices to allow Omani youth and international students to acquire skills and competencies, which will allow them to succeed and become competitive.
UoB has an international team of diversified and qualified Academic Staff who have vast and distinctive expertise, to help students succeed in their profession. UoB ensures that there are adequate resources in terms of buildings, classrooms, laboratories and services.
Today, UoB is offering 14 undergraduate programs and soon to offer graduate and post graduate programs including and for the first time in the GCC an executive doctorate degree in partnership with an international institution, subject to MoHE approval. All the undergraduate programs are delivered in English, except for Law which is in Arabic. Courses are offered in 2 semesters and during the summer.
