The 2023-2025 strategic plan stems from the desire of the Catholic University to strengthen its original cultural and ideal mandate, rediscovered and relaunched during the Centenary celebrations, to respond to the requests of civil society and the Church: a rooting in the centrality of the person, understood as a social subjectivity and the driving force of every possible transformation and planning of the future, in the name of a profound unity of culture.
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is a globally recognised university, with a remarkable ranking of #301-350 in the Times Higher Education 2024 rankings. The University has a proven track record of excellence in international exchange programmes, ranking 6th in Europe and 2nd in Italy for outbound exchange students, and 48th in Europe and 3rd in Italy for inbound exchange students in the QS Europe University Ranking 2024. It has also achieved a significant milestone in academic excellence, with 19 subjects placed within the top 400 globally in the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2024. The ARWU ranking places Università Cattolica within the #401-500 tier globally.
