- Dr. CV Raman University has been awarded with World Education Award for Online Education in Distance Learning and as the first university to have community Radio Station. The then Registrar Shri Shailesh Pandey received the award at New Delhi on behalf of the university on 8th August 2014.
- CVRU has been felicitated by Govt. of India on 14th October 2014 for the Pioneering Initiative of accepting NIELIT Qualifiers for Higher Courses.
