The University of St. Thomas (UST) is Houston's Catholic University, committed to the religious, ethical and intellectual traditions of Catholic higher education. Why?

The University of St. Thomas is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters and doctoral degrees. In addition, various schools and programs on the UST campus have received individual accreditations.

UST enrolls over 3,000 students and employs over 300 faculty members, almost half of whom are full-time. The Student:Faculty Ratio is 13:1.
