About us

Tampa Language Center, established in 1988, is to provide high-quality English language instruction in a positive, culturally-sensitive environment and to equip students with knowledge, skills, and experiences that help them achieve their personal and academic goals.

We teach students English so they can go to college, get their Master's degree, or Doctorate degrees at universities in the United States. TLC students who finish level 6 at our school will now be admitted at Hillsborough Community College or Schiller International University without having to take an IELTS or TOEFL test! Our reputation is continuing to grow for all of the right reasons!  

We also train students in English to help them in their profession.  Tampa Language Center has trained local and foreign business executives and employees in English.
