Founded in 1872, Concord University (CU) is a public, liberal arts institution located in Athens, West Virginia with more than 2,100 students enrolled. Concord University offers a 15:1 faculty to student ratio with small classes and faculty who professionally experienced. CU also offers students the opportunity to participate in research projects or gain experience through internships. CU's on-campus ESL program is available for students who need English proficiency prior to starting classes. There is no fee to apply and academic scholarships range from $5,000 to $7,000 for new freshmen and $2,000 to $3,000 for transfer students. ESL requirements for admissions are modest and on-campus ESL classes are available. A test optional college, Concord University accepts a wide range of students.
