Our campuses
Depending on what you study, you will be based at one of our three main campuses in Hamilton.
Hamilton City Campus
The Hamilton City Campus is located in the heart of the CBD. There’s onsite accommodation and snack spots throughout The Gallagher Hub, with eateries, shops, the Waikato River, Hamilton’s Lake Rotoroa, and public transport just a short walk away.
Rotokauri Campus
If you want to study sport science, trades, engineering, animal care, hospitality, or cookery, you will be based out at the Rotokauri Campus. Located north of the city, you will be learning in some of the best purpose-built facilities in New Zealand, and studying or relaxing in a modern student hub with access to a library, computers, and great food and coffee.
Hamilton Gardens Campus
The Hamilton Gardens Campus gives you the unique opportunity to study Arboriculture, Horticulture, or Landscape Design or Construction in a hands-on, practical setting. You will put theory into practice at the international award-winning Hamilton Gardens, leaving your own mark on the city

Wintec provides purpose-built facilities, which include: a practisingnursing ward, a sport science performance hub, specialist kitchens anda training restaurant, hair and beauty salons, and music and art studios. Some of our facilities are open to paying members of the public, giving you the chance to put your knowledge into practice from the onset.

It is important to us that our students feel at home, both at Wintec, and in the Waikato region. We offer support services at our core campuses, which provide a range of support and well-being options to students. We also have on-site accommodation options for students who come from outside of the region.

Dedicated International Centre
The support doesn’t stop once a student arrives at Wintec. The multicultural International Centre team is available 24/7 to help students with general advice, accommodation, and ensure students feel supported and cared for. The International Centre also organises cultural events throughout the year and provides extra care for students under the age of 18.
