The Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS) est. 1995, is a private tertiary education provider in New Plymouth, New Zealand.
PIHMS identified that Hotel and Tourism graduates in New Zealand were not graduating with the required skills, knowledge and experience demanded by the industry.
PIHMS was established to fulfil this gap, creating a model specialising in the education of future leaders in hotel business management, encompassing all aspects of the Hotel industry worldwide.
With 25 years of experience PIHMS understands what the Hotel and Tourism industry is looking for and provide our students with the skills to succeed.
PIHMS provides a unique environment perfectly simulating the Hotel industry, reflected throughout its entire education process. Students are challenged and inspired, developing attitudes, skills and knowledge enabling a seamless transition into the workplace.

On-Campus Accommodation
Accommodation is conveniently located on the PIHMS hotel campus and will take you just a minute to walk to class, restaurant, gym or swimming pool.
All rooms come equipped with the following amenities:

Beds, bedding and towels
Your bed, pillow, sheets, duvets, towels and facecloths are provided by PIHMS.
If you wish to bring your own pillow or favourite Harry Potter duvet, you absolutely can!
Room service
Your room will be kept spick and span, serviced twice a week by the housekeeping team –cleaned, dusted, vacuumed and bed made.
During this service your bedding and towels will also be replaced with a clean set. If you require a fresh towel sooner, this is available on request from the housekeeping department.
Free Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is free and available in each room and throughout the campus.
Shared facilities
Students will have access to coin operated laundry facilities on each hotel floor, $2 per load. 100% of this revenue goes to the PIHMS Student Association. Irons and ironing boards are also provided free of charge.
Dining
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided week days, with brunch and dinner provided during weekends; these meals are included in the accommodation fees.
