Established in 1970, Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) (M?ori: Te Whare Takiura o Manukau) is a largest Category One institute of technology in Auckland, New Zealand.

MIT is one of the largest providers of technical, vocational and professional education in New Zealand. Every year over 14,000 studentschoose to study with MIT at nine campuses within the greater Auckland region. On 1 April 2020, Manukau Institute of Technology will be subsumed into New Zealand Institute of Skills & Technology alongside the 15 other Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs). As an international student there are a lot of factors in choosing where you study and with who. You need confidence that your qualification will set you up for a good job when you graduate.
