Kingston Educational Institute, under the helm of Sri Utpal Bhattacharjee and Smt. Uma Bhattacharjee has already performed excellent and notable work in imparting education since 2004 in West Bengal, such as, establishment and administration of the Educational Institutions i.e; Polytechnic College, Science Degree College, Management College, 5 years Law College and a Model School, affiliated by the concerned authority in the same campus of more or less an area of 28 acres at Nilgunj, Barasat, Dist: North 24 Parganas since 2004. The said educational society has already extended its activities, such as establishment and administration of 3 years Law College at Madhyamgram Campus. The society has got recognition from NCTE to start B.Ed. College in the main campus from the academic session 2018-19. Establishment of dream projects at Bolpur and at North Bengal where plots of land are already procured is also in the priority list of the society.

Our value based, practical hands on education is offered in the areas related to Education, Engineering-Polytechnic, Law, Management, Basic and Applied Sciences, right from the elementary stages of the model school.

As part of the knowledge generation and dissemination initiative, Kingston has been conducting international symposiums and conferences in various streams since the last few years.
Kingston Educational Institute, a registered society who has already stridden in imparting higher and technical education in West Bengal. In furtherance, Kingston Educational Institute has been established with an object to impart and extend educational facilities in different places and States.
The Institute is an off spring of the new millennium. In order to meet the challenges of growing need of skilled personnel in the country and in the West Bengal, the Institute has emerged as a niche to itself amongst the different educational Institute in the state. The Kingston group of institute has the credible history of imparting education for a decade beginning from this new millennium. It earned the special galore in enrolling highest intake of students of diploma courses amongst 128 polytechnic institutes in the state of West Bengal. The institute is already in preparedness to accredit these courses from national accrediting agency for establishing its quality standard.
The institute is situated in the rural outskirts of Kolkata where common people are socially & educationally backward, neo literates, minority and disadvantaged section of the society. Ever since its establishment the Institute is training students not only in the diversified areas of technology but also in the emerging areas and cutting edge technology as well. It remained the prime endeavor on the part of the institute to spread education, rapid expansion of knowledge and generate an entrepreneurial talent to those underprivileged and minority section of the society in tuned with the policy change initiative taken by MHRD in the recent year.
In order to diversify its areas of training strategies very effectively, acquaint stakeholders with fast changing industrial scenario for preparing skilled professionals for the needs of different industries that are upcoming in various suburban areas, the districts and in the country as a whole. A huge amount of infrastructure will be created using ICT and cutting edge technologies in the class room for easy and effective disseminating the knowledge. The laboratories, class rooms with latest innovative and effective teaching ideas will be installed for running the academic affairs in the emerging areas of education.
In an effort to achieve the college mission we would like to provide our expertise for the benefit of the students in Legal, Technical, Teachers Education and other professional field and to asses them on a regular basis by providing our quality programme and services in the following manner.
I. General & Technical Education- To provide a relevant and coherent general and technical education for all students. Assess student learning outcomes in scientific / critical thinking and quantitative reasoning; oral and written communication and information and literacy.
II. Career Programmes- To provide career programmes to prepare students to enter the workforce and need workforce needs. Assess student learning outcomes at the course and programme labels. Regularly evaluate and update courses, curricular and programmes.
III. Developmental Education- To provide development education for under prepared students. Continue to implement approaches that facilitate the progress of students through the developmental sequence.
IV. Lifelong Learning- To provide courses and programmes that encourage lifelong learning and are responsive to the needs of business and industries. To evaluate and update courses and programmes in response to identified needs.
V. Innovative Pedagogy- To develop, encourage and support effective and creative approaches to teaching and learning. Regularly assess student learning outcomes.
VI.Student Support Service- To provide appropriate support services for all students that ensure success throughout the student’s college career.
VII. Resources- To provide the necessary resources, both public and private to support the institutional mission. Also to continue to partner with the State Government and State/Central University to identify and generate additional resources.
