Rather aptly, in the Land of Gods, a new light shone for education in 2005. Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions, Dehradun with Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology (DBIT), which has now become a best Engineering College in Dehradun, began its quest for achieving high standards for academic excellence in the region.

In the 14 year long journey so far, DBGI has reached milestones, which have made it a sought after destination for education amongst students not only in India but from different parts of the world. Across six schools, it offers more than 50 UG and Post Graduate programs that give students the edge in their careers. The courses cover a broad spectrum: Engineering, Computer Application, Architecture, Design (B.Des), Management, Commerce, Hotel Management, Mass Communication, BAMS, Fashion Designing, Agriculture, Polytechnic, Horticulture, Microbiology, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

With management programs at the flagship institute, and the opening of Institute of Pharmacy and Research (DBIPR), Dev Bhoomi Institute of Polytechnic (DBIP), Dev Bhoomi School of Architecture (DBSA) and Dev Bhoomi Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital (DBMCAH), it has become the training ground for leaders and future professionals from different streams.
