The Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique pour l'Industrie et l'Entreprise (ENSIIE) is one of the oldest schools delivering an engineering diploma in computer science. Since its creation back in 1968, the ENSIIE trained about 3800 engineers filling every companies' sector. The course, organised around a triptych of Mathematics, Computer Science and Business Science, remains original by providing skills for varied and high skills jobs in every sector of companies and industry (Information System, Decisional Computer Science, Finance, Big Data, Information and Communication Technologies...). For a couple of years now, the ENSIIE has kept improving by offering students multiple courses such as Financial Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistic Modelisation, Data Science, Virtual Reality and Intelligent System or Information System. Those courses are articulated around 4 thematics: Applied Mathematics, Video Games and Digital Interactions, High Performance Computing/Big Data, Computer Science and Security. A free course, combined with units of the other courses is also offered.
At the center of contemporary challenges, the ENSIIE trains future engineers to be ready to fully integrate the workfield of industry and company. To that extent, this institution focuses on the most accurate fields such as Artificial Intelligence, or apprenticeship methods providing the modelisation of phenomenas in various disciplines such as physics, biology or economy, toward which companies are very attracted. The most representative project is by the C19. Since 2016, the ENSIIE carries this cluster. Dedicated to Video Games and Digital Interactions, this cluster welcomes teachers, researchers, R&D, start-up and companies. Every actor is gathered around this technological platform to work on innovative topics.
