About us

The Academy For English Education of Lubumbashi (AFEEL) is based in the city of Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. AFEEL desires to be an affordable English school that teaches the British National and Cambridge Assessment International Education curricula in order to help our diverse student base have access to an education that is at par with schools across the globe.

AFEEL strives not only to instruct but also look after the all-round development of each child.

• Intellectually: Enhancing and improving knowledge of the world as well as helping students develop the skills to enter into a competitive world.
• Socially: Developing their sensibility and awareness of the needs of others and preparing them to live in an ever-changing society.
• Emotionally: Nurturing and guiding the psychological development of the students all through the years from childhood to adulthood.
• Physically: We consider our students’ physical development as important as and even linked to their intellectual development.

At AFEEL we have an international student base from varied cultural backgrounds. Being an English school, the vast majority of our graduating students seek to enter universities outside of Congo to pursue their higher studies and interact with the international student community. At AFEEL we consider it important for our students to help put Congo on the map and represent values that we can take pride in.
