The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a public university, enrolling almost 15,000 students every year. It has campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Hope, and Agassiz (add: as well as a growing presence in Chandigarh, India). UFV offers over 100 programs, including undergraduate programs as well as several majors and minors.

Popular courses that are available for students include aviation, computer science, business administration, computer information systems, data science, economics, and kinesiology.

UFV is nationally recognized for its outstanding reputation and is officially a member of Universities Canada.

Student employment is one of the areas that the University puts a real focus on. Through different co-op programs, UFV students get the opportunity to work with major employers and develop their workplace learning and knowledge base.

Located east of Vancouver, British Columbia, and 5 minutes away from the US border, the Fraser Valley is a beautiful and ethnically rich region in Canada. The main campus has free shuttle bus services for students, and most other campuses are well connected to major cities.

What we offer

UFV is large enough to offer variety, and yet small class sizes allow you to get to know your instructors and learn in a hands-on environment. We offer more than 100 programs, including two master’s degrees, 19 bachelor’s degrees, majors, minors, and extended minors in more than 30 subject areas, and more than a dozen trades and technology programs.
