Brighton College is a vocational training college located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, near Vancouver. We have 2 convenient campus locations in central Burnaby and Surrey.

We deliver high-quality education and support in a serious learning environment for students with a variety of backgrounds and abilities in order to improve their lives for a brighter future.

The College is built on the belief that a technical and practical education with hands-on training is a solid foundation to prepare and guide students to enter their desired career path immediately after graduation.

Vocational Training and Career Assistance
Established in 2000, Brighton College has since grown to provide over 30 programs ranging from building and engineering technology to information technology, as well as a full range of business-related courses including Office Assistant, International Trade, Accounting, and Business Management. Many of our programs are developed with accreditations and partnerships from industry-recognized certifications.

Our student services and career development services departments offer academic advisement, academic assistance, and career development to ensure student success and professional development.

Why?

Hands-on training opportunities
We believe that technical and practical skills are the foundation that will set our students apart in their job searches after graduation. Our programs include hands-on training and interactive learning styles helping students acquire skills that align with positions in their chosen industry.

Block Course format
Block classes that create focus and save you time. Students are enrolled in one class at a time for the majority of their program duration, which means they are focusing on one subject at a time, 4 hours a day, 5 days per week. See course outlines for the listing of individual course lengths.

100% work experience placement
Many of our programs include a work experience placement component that takes place towards the end of the program. We guarantee all our students in these programs a work experience placement. We help you find a local employer that will give you the opportunity to practice what you have learned during college. Some of our students are able to obtain full-time jobs with their work experience sponsors or find jobs through contacts made during their work experience.

Small instructor-led classes
Our small class sizes give you plenty of room to participate in class discussions. All our instructors are industry professionals with their own education and varied professional experiences which help them bring practical lessons to the students in all departments.

Flexible scheduling and immediate start dates
Our programs are designed for adults who may be working full-time or part-time with busy schedules; we offer full-time and part-time programs to fit your schedule. We have recently launched new blended programs, which allow students to complete a portion of the program online so they can work on their own time and pace for those courses. Our programs start every 2-4 weeks, so you can begin your training almost immediately!

Transfer Pathways
We offer our students pathways for further academic success by establishing articulation agreements with local institutions. These partnerships give students the opportunity to continue their higher education and further expand their career possibilities. Transfer pathways enable students to transfer credits to one of our institution partners, which can save them time in completing a degree.
