IMBC stands for Information Management and Business Computing. The addition "Institute for Information Processing" shows that we emerged from a university - the HTW Berlin - and work close to the university. It has been around since the last millennium, since 1999.

Nationally, we have carried out more than 40 projects mainly in the areas of environmental management and IT support for process improvement and to avoid operational environmental pollution. At the international level, we are proud of our Master's programs, which we have developed for Latin American and African universities. They are very successful in Argentina, Cuba, Mozambique and Tanzania. Other colleges offer modules that we have developed that can be chosen as specializations in other courses of study. Also in Argentina, we carried out a feasibility study on ecological process optimization in wine production. We have supported the local wine producer on his way to an organic certification
