Sidem adopts two new majors for Al-Aqsa University

The Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Sabri Sidem, on Wednesday, President of Al-Aqsa University d. Kamal Al-Sharafi is a specialist in nursing and master's in curriculum and teaching methods. He also signed an agreement to finance and support the scientific research of the university with a value of one million and 700 thousand shillings.

He pointed out that the adoption of these two disciplines will contribute to the achievement of quality service for university students, in addition to those who will join in the future.

 The minister said that the agreement comes within the framework of the Ministry's interest in supporting scientific research at the university, in order to ensure the advancement of the sector in Al-Aqsa University and other local universities that signed the agreement earlier.

He reiterated the Ministry's emphasis on standards that ensure quality in the higher education sector and the non-repetition of programs that do not meet the needs of the local and international labor market and are not in line with the requirements of comprehensive and sustainable national development.

Al-Shurafi thanked Minister Sadeem and the staff of the ministry for the adoption of these two specialties, stressing that Al-Aqsa University was found to serve the Palestinian people and will remain on this approach, pointing out the university's focus on quality academic programs that meet the requirements of achieving sustainable development. Through distinctive plans and programs aimed at keeping the name of Palestine on the map of knowledge.

The two sides discussed the various topics that serve the higher education sector, and emphasized the quality and quality of education as a basic goal for achieving the required development.
