LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2018 ) :Punjab University has awarded four PhD degrees to scholars in various disciplines/subjects.

PU spokesman said here Wednesday that those received PhD degrees included Waheed-uz-Zaman s/o Abdul Rasheed in the subject of Chemistry after approval of his thesis entitled 'Computational Quantification of Spot Test by Image Processing and Its Applications for Chemical Analysis'; Rukhsana Parveen d/o Malik Muhammad Khan in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of her thesis entitled 'Forensic and Phylogenetic Characterization of Pakistani Population Using Uniparental and Biparental Genetic Markers'; Syeda Azra Batool d/o Syed Abdul Razzaq in the subject of Economics after approval of her thesis entitled 'Determinants of Women's Empowerment in Punjab, pakistan'; and Munazza Rashid d/o Muhammad Rashid in the subject of Art & Design after approval of her thesis entitled 'Sculpture: A Controversial Art form in Pakisan'.
