Good news for Indian students in New Zealand: more initiatives are coming your way!

The Times of India recently reported a 28 percent increase in the number of Indian students studying at New Zealand institutions of higher education. 

According to the article, the New Zealand High Commissioner Joanna Kempkers said, "New Zealand has been ranked as the country in the world for educating students for the future according to a recent report by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Our education helps students develop skills the world needs and discover new ways of learning while gaining all the benefits of studying in a fair, open and free society."

 To help continue the upward trend of Indian students choosing New Zealand universities, Education New Zealand, the country's governmental organization devoted to international education, will conduct fairs across India to promote opportunities across 25 major institutions in New Zealand. At these fairs, students will have multiple opportunities to meet with advisors regarding courses, application, student visas, and enrollment processes. 

In an article in India Education Diary, Education New Zealand's regional director, John Laxon said, "We are excited to see growing interest amongst Indian students in our New Zealand institutions and particularly New Zealand Master’s qualifications, which provide accelerated career pathways for high-achieving students. Initiatives such as the NZ Excellence Awards are designed specifically for our Indian students, and we look forward to announcing further initiatives for the Indian market later in 2018."
