The Government of the Republic, through the Ministry of Education, began the process of distributing more than three million educational texts that will be sent to schools in the country's public education system.

In this sense, and after all the bidding process, it was authorized to equip the 18 departmental directorates of Education of Honduras with texts from the areas of Mathematics for the tenth and eleventh grade, and Communication / Spanish and Natural Sciences from first to ninth grade, which includes: 1- Student Workbook, 2. Reading book, 3. Teacher's guide.

"We appreciate the commitment of the departmental directors of Education, for the commitment acquired to contribute to the education of this country we see how books become a reality for our children who have not had the opportunity to have them to guide them in the teaching-learning process ", Said the First Lady, Ana García de Hernández.

"This is part of the commitment of Juan Orlando, who since the beginning of this second mandate has placed as one of its fundamental pillars the strengthening of public education in the country, with transformative development processes for our generations with better access to knowledge than become a citizen prepared, "he added.

García de Hernández indicated that the texts are a contribution that the Honduran people make through the payment of their taxes and it becomes textbooks to make the generational difference in the lives of thousands of young students as part of an integrated strategy to transform the education, providing technology and improving educational infrastructure.

One of the main challenges at the beginning of this century is the construction of better paradigms for educational development, for which scientific, academic and intellectual contributions from different perspectives and disciplines are needed with experiences in human development in the national context, to promote changes for improving educational indicators.
