NEW DELHI: Delhi University (DU) has announced its admission schedule for the academic year 2018-19, and will open its portal for admission from May 15 for undergraduate programs. The postgraduate programmes - degree and diploma - will start from May 18. The doctoral programs will start from May 20.

The University administration has also planned open days from May 21 to 29. The open days are held by the university officials to help students and parents understand the process of online application and courses available at various colleges. Open days usually see a sizeable crowd of aspiring students getting their doubts cleared and clarifying the various parts of the admission processes and eligibility.

The open days will be held in two shifts - 10 am to 11.30am and 12 pm to 1.30pm.

According to University sources, though the administration wanted to start the online application process earlier than usual, officials delayed the process to ensure that the online portal is glitch free. Sources said problems being faced in the payment gateway.
