Kuwait Ambassador Assures Full Support To International Islamic University Islamabad In Education Sector

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2018 ) :The Ambassador of Kuwait Thursday assured full support to International Islamic UniversityIslamabad (IIUI) and desired that the university should expand its joint ventures with Kuwait universities.

It was decided during a meeting between Dr Ahmed Yoiusif Al-Draiweesh, President, IIUI and Ambassador of Kuwait Nassar Abdul Rehman J Almutairi at his office, a press release said.

Both the Ambassador and IIUI President agreed that bilateral cooperation in the field of education would further enhance the ties between IIUI and Kuwait.

He also felicitated Dr Al-Draiweesh on his new appointment as IIUI President for further four years.

Dr Al-Draiweesh said pakistan and Kuwait have exemplary relations.

 

He furthered said that university was striving to hold joint ventures with Kuwaiti varsities to address the contemporary challenges of the hour.

He said IIUI would keep playing its role in dissemination of islam's message of peace.

Dr Al-Draiweesh also congratulated him on successfully assuming and continuing the affairs of embassy.

He said that university strives to build bridges between the traditional knowledge and the latest technologies, paying equal attention to the Islamic heritage and the engineering and technologywhich was need of the time as ithelped avoiding the clash of civilizations through the rejection of extremism, prejudice and terrorism in the light ofdivine teachings.
