Shah Abdul Latif University VC Inaugurates IV Phase Of PM's Laptop Scheme

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2018 ) :Vice Chancellor (VC), Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) Khairpur, Professor Dr. Parveen Shah on Tuesday inaugurated the IV phase of the Prime Minister (PM)'s Laptop scheme at the university.

The Ceremony was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Khushk, Registrar Dr. Asad Raza Abidi, Focal Person Laptop scheme Dr. Maqsood Zia and others.

Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor congratulated the recipients of the laptops and encouraged them to pursue the better goals of research with sincerity and commitment.

She lauded the efforts of previous government for their education friendly steps of laptop scheme and fees reimbursement.

 

She told the scholars that the university will take every measure to ensure the continuation of these schemes so that the maximum students can benefited from rural Sindh.

Speaking on the occasion, the focal person laptop scheme Dr. Maqsood Zia told the audience that in Phase IV about 2000 laptops will be distributed among the students of BS, M.A, M.S, M. Phil and PhD Programs. Moreover, so far about 5000 laptops have been distributed among the students of this university.
