Higher Education Commission (HEC) Announces Conferring 56 Awards To Researchers, Academician

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2018 ) :The Higher Education Commission (HEC) announced conferring 56 awards to researchers, academicians in various disciplines According to categories, as many as 37 awards would be conferred to best research papers. Nine awards would be conferred to Best Young Research Scholar. One award has been reserved for Best innovator and nine awards would be conferred to the authors of best book.

 

The "HEC Outstanding Research Awards" for researchers/scholars to recognize and award the outstanding performance of Pakistaniacademicians for research, innovation, and publication in the field of study pertaining to natural, agricultural, biological, health sciences, pure engineering, social sciences, arts/humanities, computer and management sciences to promote a competitive research culture in higher education and research and development institutions.

In this regard, applications are invited for "Best Research Paper Award", "Best Book Award", BestYoung Research Scholar Award" and "Best Innovator".

Sources of Higher Education Commission said to APP, that For the Best Young Research Scholar Award the maximum age limit is 40 years at the date of submission and those who have received this award in the last five years are not eligible to apply. The last date for submission of the application is August 16, 2018. Soon the announcement will get publish in the National Dailies.
