An MoU signing ceremony was held at Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) office in Karachi to formalise the partnership between National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and PPL, in the context of Outreach Programme for Baluchistan and areas of KPK (formerly part of FATA)
 

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2018 ) An MoU signing ceremony was held at pakistanPetroleum Limited (PPL) office in Karachi to formalise the partnership between National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and PPL, in the context of Outreach Programme for Baluchistan and areas of KPK (formerly part of FATA).

The ceremony was jointly chaired by Managing Director PPL Mr Wamiq Bukhari and Pro-Rector Academics NUST Dr Asif Raza.

The 4-week Outreach Programme, scheduled to be held from June 20, 2018 to July 20, 2018, will include bright high school students from all districts of Balochistan and areas formerly part of FATA, with an aim to prepare them for the university education.

The PKR 16.80 million partnership will make an impact on 320 students, 160 students from each region, by offering them a greater chance to compete with the students from more developed areas of Pakistan, and qualify for admission at different universities of Pakistan including NUST.
