The Agent's Obligations
- The Agent agrees to act as a representative of the College & will involve no third party without prior notification to the College.
- The Agent shall act as a representative of the College with prior consent of the College solely in the agreed country and region.
- The Agent shall charge the Student only the published course fee at the time of the booking unless authorized by the College in advance or in writing.
- The Agent with at all times use his / her discretion to enroll only legitimate student who intend to study, hold a valid passport and fulfill all the criteria as mentioned by the College & will not bring the College any disrepute.
- The Agent will provide receipts of all transactions both for Student and for the College.
- The Agent agrees to act in a polite, professional manner at all times when responsible for College and will not involve in any activity which could potentially bring any kind of bad reputation in the College and or its courses.
- The Agent should never mislead the any potential student or any other party or give any inaccurate information about the College or its courses.
- The Agent agrees that the Student is enrolled on a course only once the following criteria are fulfilled:
- The College has received the completed and signed student application form together with all the supporting documents as stated in the application form.
- The application process is completed online using College admission services.
- The full agreed course payment is paid in form of a DD favored in the name of College and details and credibility of the draft is checked & verified by the Agent and the Demand Draft (DD) must be forwarded to the college within 3 working days of the approval of the VISA (in case of agents is authorised to hold the verified and guaranteed form of payments on behalf of the college)
- The student has received the receipt of the payment paid to the Agent.
- The College has received the copy of DD by e-mail, fax or post for all the Money given to the Agent by the student.
- The Agent has received the confirmation letter from the College on behalf of the Student.
- The Agent agrees to deal with all the queries made by student regarding studies at College, including the provision of the required Visa as determined by the UK Border Agency.
- The Agent agrees to provide the College with an effective service including regular updates and progress reports where applicable.
- The Agent under NO circumstances should give any sort of guarantee about the issue of any entry clearance to the students.
- General responsibilities (must be briefed to the students while at the time of the enrollment)
- The Agent MUST mention any additional costs involved in the process and MUST NOT charge student any extra fees unless otherwise authorized by the College.
- The Agent must give the College a minimum of 6 working days to prepare the registration letters upon the receipt of the completed application pack from the Agent.
- The College will NOT use special courier service to send out application/registration letters to the Agent, unless otherwise agreed in advance. This would normally involve costs unless otherwise agreed in advance.
- The Agent is required to collect a refundable deposit of 100% of tuition fees at the time of enrollment and must deposit it in the College's nominated Bank A/c or send it to the international admission office.
- It is the responsibility of the Agent to ensure the necessary fees have been collected from the student prior to the departure of UK, if the Agent fails to do so, College will NOT take any responsibility for any Agents commission loss. It is the Agent's responsibility to collect the FULL FEES from every student.
- It is the Agent's responsibility to transfer all the fees paid by the Student for the course and other College services within 7 working days upon the receipt of the entry clearance.
Failing to abide the classes above will be treated as serious breach and commissions of Agent will only be paid on the tuition fees deposited by the student through Agent.
Marketing and Promotional Activities
- Under this agency agreement the agent is only permitted to use the College name and NOT permitted to use the college logo or any logos of associated partners for marketing purposes.
- All marketing activities must be conducted in a professional manner and should not bring the college's business image into dispute. In case of uncertainty, the agent is obliged to contact the college.
- If the agent wishes to conduct and educational seminar, or any admission session, and considers presence of participation of College's representatives necessary then the agent must inform the college a minimum of four weeks in advance in order to check availability and discuss the possibility of such presence or participation.
- In the event that the college decides to conduct a visit to a certain area by itself, the selected agents will be informed. The terms and conditions of their participations and assistance will be negotiated at that time.
- The college can not guarantee that all the local agents will be visited during the particular overseas trip.
Your contract to represent Institution will be null and void if, one or more of following happens:
- After 12 months, from the date of your present contract, unless renewed.
- If the agent fails to send any enrollments for a period of 4 calendar months.
- Any unauthorized use of College property or Logos.
- Any activity of agent bringing disrepute to College.
- Misrepresentations / False Undertakings by Agent.
- Fraudulent Act.
- Non-adherence to terms of the contract.
