​Swiss Cottage School is strategically located on the border of New Delhi and Gurgaon adjacent to Palam Vihar, sectors- 23 ,22 and 21 of Gurgaon and Bijwasan, Kapashera of Delhi. The school with a distinct personality vibrates with depth, stability and progress as it is situated amidst a lush green environment dotted with beautiful tall silver oaks around the periphery, thus living up to its name – Swiss Cottage. The school specifically caters to the needs of those children who reside in Gurgaon but would prefer to study in New Delhi to claim their domicile of capital of India. Swiss Cottage School is home to that select group of children and parents who aspire to take advantage of being residents of Gurgaon yet retain their domicile status of New Delhi to facilitate higher education in capital of India. The elementary classes with children in the age group of 2+ to 6+ years are taught using play way method by trained and experienced teachers. Continuous and comprehensive teaching and learning pattern is followed with ongoing assessments. Use of technology enables smooth and effective learning in all classes and in all age groups. All class rooms are air-conditioned. A unique feature of Swiss Cottage School is teacher student ratio which is maintained very close to 1:25. Regular teaching in laboratories gives experiential learning to students. School has well equipped Maths Lab, Social Science Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, and Computer lab with well stocked Library. Vast and expansive playgrounds of BasketBall, Cricket, NetBall, Hockey, Tennis, VolleyBall provide ample opportunities to nurture sports talents in students. Two swimming pools in the campus are used by students from April to September and swimming is integral part of the school time table. Music, Dance, Yog, Martial Art classes are also held regularly within the time table. Assemblies in the morning provide effective platform to students to speak from the stage as a confidence building exercise. This is also a platform for non-formal education ensuring holistic development of every child. All students are given opportunity to speak in the assembly. The Principal of Swiss Cottage School is Ms. Seema Bhatnagar an eminent educationist with vast experience of having taught in best of the schools in the country. The Chairperson of the school is Shrimati Raj Dagar and the trustee is Shri Virender Dagar.
