The Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Culture looks closely at this burgeoning contributor to world economy, politics, and culture. From the perspective of language, our Degree in Chinese Language & Culture presumes little or no prior knowledge of the language. You'll start off with the rudiments of Chinese, and assuming that you put in hard work in and outside the classroom, you'll pave your way towards a working business level, while understanding the nuances and fine points reflecting the culture of the people.
The word ‘Culture’ in the title of our degree brings together several aspects that will serve as different entry points into Chinese culture. You will come to understand more about traditional and contemporary literature, history, business practices, social sciences, and even pop culture. Students with any high school credential are eligible, pending satisfaction of admission requirements.
